Friday 25th April - We celebrate the opening of the Festival with a champagne and canapé Gala, hosted by The Shoreline Conference Centre, Butlins. Mingle with the stars, TV, press, radio, industry and business executives and our sponsors for a night to remember. Invitation only – Dress Dj and posh frock or your equivalent of!
Saturday 26th April - The Play Radio Evening of Drama hosted by Play Radio’s own Marcus Quilter. Doors open at 7pm with the screening of nominated films at 7.30pm. A panel of international adjudicators giving feedback and a chance for film makers to talk about their films
Sunday 27th April -The Bognor Regis TBI Comedy Evening. Doors open at 7pm. Champagne and canapés to start before we begin the evening at 7.30pm with Harold Snoad (BBC producer/director – Keeping up Appearance, It Ain’t Half Hot Mum and many others) and friends sharing tales and footage from the Beeb . Followed by the screening of nominated comedy films. International panel of adjudicators giving feedback and a chance for the film makers to talk about their films
Monday 28th April - Made in Bognor sponsored by The Observer Newspaper. An all day event, spread over three, two hour sessions, session one starts at 10am join historian Sylvia Endacott as she reminisces about Bygone Bognor, and again at 2pm, in the style that only Sylvia can deliver. Tickets priced at £3 per session or £5 for two. Refreshments included
The third session – doors open at 7pm for an Evening with Bryan Gartside – Festival Director. Join our Director for a glass of wine (or two) for his Directors Choice – has the makings of a very an interesting evening. Also screening the acclaimed “Behind the Projectionists door” We kick off at 7.30pm Invitation only
Tuesday 29th April - The Documentary Evening, doors open at 7pm. The screening of nominated films starts at 7.30pm, international panel of adjudicators to give feedback and a chance for film makers to discuss their films.
Wednesday 30th April - The European Evening, join us and our Festival Partners in a celebration of European film making. A chance to broaden the horizons with champagne and canapés. Doors open at 7pm and screening to start at 7.30pm. International panel of adjudicators and a chance for film makers to discuss their films.
Thursday 1st May - The Animation Evening, an array of animated nominated films to be screened, doors open at 7pm with the screening at 7.30pm, international panel of adjudicators giving feedback and a chance for the animators to talk about their films
Friday 2nd May - Party@ the end of the Pier sponsored by The Waverley. Join us to celebrate university film making. Doors open at 7.pm and the screening of the nominated films to starts at 7.30pm. Special Peoples Choice voting system, vote for the film you want to win, votes to be added to the ones cast by the international adjudicating panel. FREE BEER (yes free beer) and food plus MATHS CLASS playing live. Invitation only
Saturday 3rd May - The last day of the Festival - The Red Carpet Awards Ceremony and the most important all the glitz, sparkle and glamour of a festival awards night. Join the celebrities, the press, TV and radio to find out who’s won. It will be a very special evening, celebrate with the winners in true champagne style.
The Gala is held at The Shoreline Conference Centre Bognor Regis
All other events at The Regis Centre, Belmont Street, Bognor Regis
How do I get a ticket?
If you are a film maker who has a nominated film in the Festival, then we will be reserving two tickets for you for the Gala and tickets for your screening evening and the Red Carpet Awards Ceremony, just contact me and tell me how many you need
